Organizations in Historic Hudson River Towns member communities are welcome to post events here free of charge. Events must be open to the public, with or without admission fees. Historic Hudson River Towns reserves the right to reject any event that is considered inappropriate for any reason. Please allow up to 24 hours after submission for event to be listed.

ONE VOICE, MANY ECHOES: Second Annual Robeson in Peekskill Commemoration

An afternoon of music, storytelling, and community for all ages. Inspired by Paul Robeson’s mission to sing for justice, the program features nationally acclaimed musical activists plus a special performance by the Peekskill CIty Singers – Peekskill High School’s A Cappella Jazz Choir.

Performers include: Guy Davis A two-time Grammy nominee, musician, actor, author, and songwriter.
Reggie Harris An innovative guitarist, fearlessly creative vocalist, and engaging storyteller,Lawrence Anthony (LA) Bass vocalist for The Persuasions and frontman for LA-SOUL, The Peekskill City Singers – Peekskill High School’s own advanced A Capella Jazz chorus singing contemporary songs of freedom.
David Bernz is a Grammy-winning producer and Hudson Valley folksinger and writer.
