Originally intended to turn the Halloween franchise into an anthology series, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, centers on witchcraft, commercialization in U.S. 80’s culture, and a Halloween mass murder plot inspired by an ancient Celtic ritual! Though initially panned by some critics and fans for departing from the first two series films’ Michael Myers plot line/Slasher genre, the film has since received positive reevaluation and is oft included in its rightful place in the Spooky Season cult classic pantheon!
