Divining Rod

Divining Rod emerged from the pandemic with the release of another exciting new record. A companion record to the group's prior Santa Monica & Other Golden ClassicsEP, The House Will Always Win was recorded in late 2022 at Virtue And Vice Studios in Brooklyn with Anthony TJ 'Rocky' Gallo (Cigarettes After Sex, John Legend).

Originally, Divining Rod was the solo project of Hawaiian native Miyuki Furtado of the former TooPure recording artists, The Rogers Sisters. After recruiting guitarist Patrick Harmon, Furtado started playing shows handling guitar, vocals, and drums - utilizing his homemade suitcase drumset while Harmon added his unique guitar playing and harmonies to the mix. Second drummer John Malone and bassist Matt Svigals round out the band.

The House Will Always Win, the latest EP from Divining Rod, is available now across music platforms via Kilipaki Records.

A new record is freshly written and recorded and due out in 2026!
