Drink & Draw is a modern twist on the classic artistic practice of life drawing. Artists of all experience levels and backgrounds are welcome, especially those that have always wanted to try their hand.<\/p>\n

In this non-instructional event, we aim to create a relaxing, social and inclusive environment for the community to come together for a fun night of drawing.\u00a0 After some mingling with fellow guests, participants will have an opportunity to capture the human body in\u00a0poses of\u00a0different\u00a0lengths, with breaks for refreshments in between.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s\u00a0wine, crackers, cheese and cookies\u00a0to enjoy, and\u00a0our\u00a0host\u00a0curates\u00a0a playlist to keep your energy flowing.\u00a0 The evening lasts about 2 hours, and participants leave with a collection of their new works\u2026 and maybe some new friends too.<\/p>\n

RiverArts is proud to be able to provide this unique opportunity right here in our Rivertowns, an opportunity which is often only accessible to art students or by traveling into New York City, with a significant investment of time and tuition.\u00a0 Drink & Draw offers a perfect entry-level for the amateur artist, and we have seen beginners improve significantly as their skills develop in subsequent sessions and they draw on their experience and learn from others.<\/p>\n
