With its mix of woodlands, fields,\u00a0wetlands and\u00a0a lake, the Preserve supports a diversity of species, especially birds. Come find out why the National Audubon Society has designated this an Important Bird Area.\u00a0A hint: nearly 200 bird species have been spotted here! Our local Audubon chapter, Saw Mill River Audubon, regularly leads small group bird walks here. Group sizes are limited, registration is required. They are good for all levels of birding experience and beginners are very welcome! Walks are for adults and youth age 8 or older.
