The museum, which opened in 2003, is situated on the banks of the Hudson River in Beacon. Along with Dia&#8217;s permanent collection, Dia:Beacon also presents temporary exhibitions, as well as public programs designed to complement the collection and exhibitions. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.diabeacon.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.diabeacon.org<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center<\/h3>\n<p>Designed by Cesar Pelli and opened to the public in November 1993, the center sits on the campus of Vassar College, internationally known for its fine buildings. Called a &#8220;symphony of architecture&#8221; by the New York Times, the center houses a new museum, home to one of the finest teaching collections in the nation, as well as the renovated collegiate-gothic building, Taylor-Van Ingen Hall, home of the art department and the art library. Open Fridays 11-5 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 1am to 6pm or by appointment. Formerly the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Hudson Valley MOCA at 1701 Main Street\u00a0 in Peekskill offers changing exhibitions and educational programs. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcca.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.hudsonvalleymoca.org<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Storm King Art Center<\/h3>\n<p>This art museum and sculpture park is situated near Storm King Mountain in Cornwall.
