Trying out a new film\, he decided Main Street was where he would experiment with it. As the images emerged from his dark room\, he became fascinated with the quality of the film as well as the opportunities Main Street offered him. He returned nearly every Sunday morning for the next year\, walking from 9W to the riverfront.\n \n82 Pieces of ’82\, Main Street\, Nyack will be our first traditional “opening” since COVID. SUMMARY:Oak Hill Cemetery Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Walk scenic Oak Hill Cemetery and celebrate the lives of many “permanent residents” of the Nyacks who made their mark on the national\, state\, and local stages. Actress Helen Hayes\, playwrights Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur\, artist Edward Hopper\, author Carson McCullers and some of the earliest settlers of the Nyacks are buried here.\nMeet at 2p\, drive into the cemetery entrance on 9W between Sickles Ave and 5th Ave. Our tour guides will direct you where to park up the hill. Cost is $10.
