SUMMARY:Annual Spring Model Train Show
DESCRIPTION:The Garden State Model Railway Club will open its doors once again for our Annual Spring Model Train Show! We will be running model trains of all kinds on our 1200 square foot HO scale layout\, including Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends. There will be a special appearance on March 29th by John Rezuke’s Ringling Bros. Circus Train\, and April 5th and 6th will feature the Golden Age of Steam!\nWe will also have our second railroad room open which features our new railroad currently under construction\, a children’s railroad where kids can try their hand at running trains\, and for sale items to complete your collection at home.\nAdmission is $10 for adults\, and children under 11 are free of charge!

Join local historians and authors Diane Lapis and Anne Peck-Davis as they share fascinating historical vignettes and vintage postcard of lounges\, hotel bars and other exotic drinking venues from the 1930s\, 40s and 50s. Sample two classic cocktails and enjoy a light assortment of finger foods and charcuterie at the historic Mesier Homestead. Non-alcoholic beverage will be available for those who do not imbibe\, but who still enjoy the distinct glamour of the cocktail scene of that era. All attendees will receive 10% off their purchase at the Mesier Homestead gift shop that evening. \nAdults 21 and over\, please.
