DESCRIPTION:Loaded Concerts and WPDH presents John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band! \nThe legendary multi-platinum “East Coast Rock’n’Roll” group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1972 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the “Eddie & The Cruisers – Motion Picture Soundtrack”.  The hit single “On the Dark Side” held the “Number-One” position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for “five” consecutive weeks.  The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA. \nThe title track from the group’s 1985 follow-up album “Tough All Over” became their second “Number-One” single on the Billboard Rock charts and the song “C-I-T-Y” reached the Billboard Top 20.  John Cafferty’s solo track “Hearts on Fire” was featured in the Sylvester Stallone film “Rocky IV” and he received his second double Platinum soundtrack award.  Over the years John has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures. \nToday John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band continue to tour and bring their exciting live shows to fans around the world.  In 2012 they were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall Of Fame.

DESCRIPTION:Presented by The Tarrytown Music Hall\nDionne Warwick is a six-time Grammy Award-winning music legend who has earned more than 75 charted hit songs and sold over 100 millionrecords. She was discovered by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in 1961\, and went on to record 18 consecutive Top 100 singles (“Don’t Make Me Over\,” Walk on By\,” “Say a Little Prayer\,” “A House is Not a Home\,” “Alfie\,” “Heartbreaker\,” “Déjà Vu\,” among countless others). She received her first Grammy in 1968 for “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?”. \n\nMs. Warwick became the first African-American solo female artist of her generation to win the prestigious award for Best Contemporary Female Vocalist Performance. In 1985\, she participated in the recording of “That’s What Friends Are For\,” which became a number-one hit worldwide and raised awareness and major funds for AIDS research\, which she continues to support\, among other causes such as The Starlight Foundation\, children’s hospitals\, world hunger\, disaster relief\, and music education for which she has been honored and has raised millions of dollars. Built in 1860\, this enigmatic\, eight-sided\, domed landmark is the pride of the Village of Irvington\, in the heart of “Sleepy Hollow Country.” During the month of October\, The Octagon House is pleased to announce a special ‘Myths and Mysteries’ tour to celebrate the Halloween season. \nFor years\, local rumors have swirled around The Octagon House\, implying its connection to the spirit world. Join us as we delve into the myths and mysteries of the house — from its unique dome shape resembling an ancient Roman temple\, to its octagonal floor plan rooted in 19th century Phrenology\, to speculations of a resident ghost\, we’ll share stories from the current owners who have described their experiences of the house as something otherworldly. Come hear tales of the unexplained and uncanny events that have occurred in this magical house while experiencing the delight of this meticulously restored architectural wonder.
