Wednesday morning\, staff discovered someone had graffitied that phrase on the front of the Pride Center.\nIncidents of hateful graffiti\, threats\, and intimidation are rising at LGBTQ+ community centers around the country.\nThese are the inevitable expression of a political moment charged with violence and hatred of LGBTQ+ people. We’ve already seen what happens when elected officials embolden individuals to take action to “protect children.”\nWe saw it at Club Q in Colorado Springs.\nWe saw it when Boston Children’s Hospital received bomb threats for providing healthcare to LGBTQ+ youth and their families.\nWe see it locally in threats against the Pride Center for working with schools.\nNo matter what happens: We’re here. We’re queer. Period. Nothing will change the reality that we are your teachers\, neighbors\, doctors\, and pastors. We are your children whether you choose to see us or not.\nTo hate us is to hate a part of yourself.\nSee you on Sunday!

DESCRIPTION:NOSH AND PLAY! – A BI-WEEKLY ADULT “RETREAT”\nEvery other Wednesday 6:30-8:15pm\n$25 per visit\nA continuation of our “Paint\, Nosh\, Reflection” series.\nThis go around we will have guest facilitators lead a group activity which will be focused from theatre\, the arts\, dance\, or mindfulness.\nThis is an easy to swallow (pun-intended) evening meant to relax\, inspire\, and engage all of your senses.\nSo come join the fun and get out of the week-day brunt and let’s Nosh and Play!!\nEach week a special “nosh” will be featured to “feed the soul” in a very figurative way!\nThis is a safe space to make art\, be yourself\, and heal. Please come with that in mind as we hold space and kindness towards one another in the shared retreat.\nCome for one or all evenings.\n

Varying in distance (and altitudes) (and location on the Long Path Trail)\, guided expeditions unlock community through the great outdoors while showing off the beauty and greatness of the Hudson Valley. Our evening hike times will be based on sunset time so expect them to start a little later as the warmer weather arrives. For our day hikes\, we’ll meet at 10:30 am at the trailhead and expect 4-7 miles\, depending on our route.\nKeep an eye on your inbox. You’ll receive an automatic response immediately after purchase with a required waiver and all of the information you need for our journey.
