Raised in a culture that infuses daily life with spirituality\, she draws from Japanese traditions that honor the natural world\, ancestral rituals\, and the unseen forces that connect all beings. Her multidisciplinary practice—including sculpture\, painting\, video\, and performance—is also deeply influenced by motherhood\, exploring themes of nurture\, devotion\, and the cyclical nature of existence.
