SUMMARY:Edward Hopper's Hudson River Boyhood and Emerging Artistic Vision
DESCRIPTION:Curated by Carole Perry and Kathleen Motes Bennewitz\, with Lynne Z. SUMMARY:Hudson Chorale Holiday Concert
DESCRIPTION:Hudson Chorale Holiday Program – Two live concerts — Camille Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio and Benjamin Britten’s St. Nicolas Cantata — will be performed on Saturday December 10\, 2022 and Sunday December 11\, 2022 at Christ Episcopal Church at 43 South Broadway\, Tarrytown\, NY. The concerts will take place at 3 PM on both days.\nHudson Chorale\, under the baton of Artistic Director David Baranowski\, will perform with soloists including acclaimed tenor Nils Neubert\, who will sing the lead role of Nicolas in the Britten.\nWe usher in the season of light and rebirth with these performances\, featuring an ensemble including harp\, tympani\, violins\, organ and piano. Our Saturday concert will additionally be recorded for streaming on YouTube\, fulfilling Hudson Chorale’s promise to maintain community access in the time of COVID.\n“We are delighted to bring this program to the community before the holidays\,” said Artistic Director Baranowski. “Through nearly two years of pandemic\, we have nurtured our music through remote and\, recently\, live rehearsal. We can’t wait to hear these beautiful works soar in this church.”\nIt is recommended that audience members be masked during the performance.\nTickets can be purchased for $25 each from members of the Hudson Chorale or on the Hudson Chorale website. For further information\, please visit www.HudsonChorale.org or email us at info@hudsonchorale.org.
