DESCRIPTION:The next Croton Free Library Book & Bake Sale will take place Saturday\, November 16th and Sunday\, November 17th from 10am-3pm (early bird admission will be from 8am-10am on Saturday for $10). \nOn Sunday\, fill a Library Tote bag for just $20 (including the tote and all you can fit inside)!  As in years past\, the event will take place in the library’s Ottinger room. \nWe know this is a fun weekend for so many of our neighbors and friends\, and we look forward to seeing everyone discover great book\, music\, and DVD deals. Our sale is fit for all ages\, and items are listed at prices that cannot be beat! \nWe will also have delicious homemade baked goods on sale (all safely wrapped) for you to enjoy after a successful shopping experience.

DESCRIPTION:Friday\, November 14\, 2025\, at Ossining Riverworks (30 State Street) \nThe Ossining Arts Council is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Art for the River exhibition and benefit auction\, in partnership with Ossining Riverworks and Riverkeeper. Through artwork that reflects the beauty and ecological significance of the Hudson River and Hudson Valley – its landscapes\, wildlife\, and scenes and elements that celebrate the river and its surroundings – this event aims to raise both funds and awareness for Riverkeeper’s crucial work and showcase the artistic talents of our community. \nBid on more than 40 local Hudson Valley themed works and other community goodies. Auction will have live and silent components. The live auction will be hosted by Hal Roark. \nTastings and signature cocktails by Croton Dam Spirits\nAge 21+ only
