This event will fund awards\, scholarships\, and the cost of competitions for our Culinary students and SkillsUSA members.\nEach Chef will showcase her culinary talent and style through a 5-course menu\, offering guests the opportunity to sample at least one course from each chef.\nGuest Chefs and their menu creations\nNikki Hanna\, Tara Ciannella\, and Alyssa Osinga\nThis menu is designed so each featured chef can showcase their unique style through 5 courses. DESCRIPTION:The Autobahn Indoor Speedway and Orange County Fair Speedway will host a Charitable Pro-Am Race on Thursday at the Palisades Center\, with all proceeds going to help local children with serious medical challenges.\nSpectators are welcome. A $15 donation will go to Nyack Penguin Plunge.\nDoors will open at 5:30 p.m. for Silent Auction and extensive “Tricky Tray.” The opening ceremonies will start at 7 p.m.\, followed by an invitational Match Race. Rockland and Orange county executives and county sheriffs will compete in a three-lap go-kart race “for fun and bragging rights” along with movie actor and director Paul Borghese\, WRCR morning radio host Jeff Lewis and Jay Hood\, chairman of the Rockland County Legislature.\nThen\, actual professional drivers from Orange County Fair Speedway and other racing venues will compete against Autobahn Racing League drivers\, including race fans.\nAn after-race celebration will occur at the Yardhouse on Level Four at the mall.

SUMMARY:Fall Fair 2023 Returns to Christ Church Oct. 21
DESCRIPTION:The Fall Fair – with its treasures\, bargains\, gifts for early Christmas shoppers\, crafts and games for children\, International Café and Bake Sale\, Clothing Closet and more – returns to Tarrytown on October 21 at Christ Church San Marcos\, 43 South Broadway at the corner of West Elizabeth Street.  The all-day event is from 10 am to 4 pm. \nThe festival at Tarrytown’s historic Christ Episcopal Church San Marcos is the church’s major annual fundraiser.  From a Boutique offering jewelry\, artwork\, trinkets and collectibles to the White Elephants bargain section\, to sports equipment\, and electronics\, there is something for everyone. \nChrist Church San Marcos\, founded in 1836\, evolves with the needs and interests of the local community. For many years\, the Community Food Pantry of Sleepy Hollow has been housed in the church hall. The church’s services to the community also include its Clothing Closet\, a scholarship fund for area youth to enroll in summer enrichment programs\, a series of Saturday night concerts\, and an annual Day of Defiant Hope social justice forum.

DESCRIPTION:Working with our partners at the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society we are pleased to offer lighthouse tours. \nOur lighthouse tours are an opportunity to learn about the important role that the Hudson River played in the development of the upper Hudson River towns and the role that the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse plays in the safe navigation of river transportation. \nMore Information :  \n– For safety reasons\, we ask that visitors wear sturdy shoes (not flip flops or high heels) \n– Picnic tables are available if you wish to bring a lunch. There are public restrooms in Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. A composting toilet is available at the lighthouse. \n– Souvenirs are available. (Cash\, check preferred.) ATM at nearby Amtrak station in Hudson. Visitors are asked to bring their own water if needed. \nPrices :\n$30 Adults Ages 16-64\n$25 Seniors Ages 65+ & Members\n$20 Children Ages 3-15\nFree Infants Ages 2 and Under are FREE
