DESCRIPTION:This all-star band brings you the joyful sounds and rhythms of the Peruvian coast with a contemporary treatment that is rooted in tradition. The ensemble’s repertoire includes classics of the Afro-Peruvian folklore rarely seen in the U.S.\, including festejos\, zamacuecas\, landos\, and contrapuntos de Cajones. \nThis program is part of the 2023 Hudson River Museum Summer Amphitheater Series. \nDoors open at 7:30pm. \nNo reservations required. \nSeating is on a first-come\, first-served basis.
