DESCRIPTION:Step inside several historic homes and see and learn about many more buildings as we tour the midcentury and modernist architecture of Northern Westchester! As early as the 1940s\, prolific\, prominent\, and talented designers were leaving their modernist mark in the county. The list includes Frank Lloyd Wright and his disciples\, the Harvard Five and other graduates of the school\, and many other award-winning architects. Also intriguing are many of the people that commissioned these progressive designers\, sometimes creatives themselves! This tour will highlight a great collection of these impressive places and people in Northern Westchester. \nJoin us for this unique experience to see historic homes\, inside and out\, and immerse yourself in culture and history. Offered one time only! Space is limited. \nThis is a guided bus tour. We will be boarding the bus in the Briarcliff Manor area. Location details coming soon!
