While the artists highlighted in this exhibition work in diverse mediums and techniques\, they are united in capturing broader themes of identity\, memory\, and emotion through abstract\, stylistic or expressive language. Whether through rigorous precision\, intuitive mark making\, gestural brushwork\, or poignant photography\, the artists infuse their work with personal narratives and reflections of the world around them.  \nExhibiting artists:  Nina Berlingeri\, Ken Carbone\, Diane Churchill\, Brett De Palma\, José M. DESCRIPTION: JULY 4 – THURSDAY – 7:00 PM  \nEXPERIENCE FIREWORKS OVER THE HUDSON RIVER  \nEvery year on July 4\, you can see fireworks at eye level from 212 feet above the Hudson River on the World’s Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge. On Independence Day\, Walkway Over the Hudson will be open to ticket holders for an unobstructed view of the City of Poughkeepsie fireworks display. The Friends of the Walkway nonprofit organization is a proud sponsor of the City of Poughkeepsie’s annual fireworks. Proceeds from ticket sales support Walkway Over the Hudson helping us to host community events and programs\, improve the park with new amenities\, support our volunteer Ambassadors\, and much more!  \n General admission tickets are available now for only $25 per adult.
