DESCRIPTION:Roost Restaurant and Union Arts Center are pleased to present two new\nexhibitions featuring the work of Andrea Baruffi and Suzanne Auer.\nIn Gallery 1\, Andrea Baruffi showcases a collection of prints made from his\noriginal acrylic paintings. Baruffi’s artistic style is characterized by\nwhimsy and humor. Many of the original acrylic paintings\, from which the\n“Playful” series of art prints are made\, range in size from 60″ x 80″ to\n80″ x 80″. They are available for purchase directly from the artist’s\nstudio\, located two hours north of Florence. His work is widely exhibited\nthroughout Italy.\nBaruffi\, a former illustrator and longtime resident of Piermont\, returned\nto Italy after his retirement\, having worked in New York for major\nadvertising agencies and children’s book publishers. He received classical\ntraining in art at the prestigious Liceo Artistico in Bologna and holds a\ndegree in architecture from the University of Florence.
