This exhibit is pertinent at this time in history and follows in the footsteps of our founders who were important activists in their time. Artists are the observers of our society and view it as their duty to bring issues to the public in visual context easier to contemplate. The artists in this exhibit respond to social injustice, environmental issues, and our food supply while using their art as a weapon to bring to the forefront issues they’re most passionate about, bringing about community healing and change. Artists exhibiting are: Vera Aronow, Michael Fischerkeller, Simone Kestelman, Lisa Levart, Francesco Mastalia, Wilfredo Morel, Jessica Putnam Phillips, Loren Schwerd and Marisa Silverstein. Art Changes Things looks at art that transcends boundaries. This exhibit operates as an empowering agent of change, presenting work that challenges notions of class. This work is meant to start conversations and breakdown stereotypes. Regular hours are: Mon-Fri 10-4; Sat and Sun 1-4 pm.
