Harlem Comes to the Paramount in Peekskill
The Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill, will present two performances featuring the spirit of Harlem, one of America's most exciting neighborhoods, on Saturday, February 19th, and Saturday May 14th at 8 p.m. Two performances that represent the thriving, diverse culture of Harlem will take the stage at the historic Paramount, bringing a slice of the Big Apple with them.

The Harlem Gospel Choir
Saturday, February 19, 8 p.m., $25

The world famous Harlem Gospel Choir is one of the pre-eminent gospel choirs in the world. The Choir has some of the finest singers and musicians from the many Black Churches in Harlem. Their music carries a message: bringing people and nations together and giving something back. This high-energy performance will have you clapping, singing, and dancing in the aisles.

Showtime @ the Apollo on Tour
Saturday, May 14, 8 p.m., $25

Showtime @ The Apollo On Tour, as seen on the nationally syndicated television show Showtime @ the Apollo, features local talent that have auditioned in the weeks prior to the performance. The winner of the Paramount show will receive a $1000 cash prize and a guaranteed shot at the big time at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem. Is there an Apollo legend in our town? (Auditions will take place Sunday, April 3, at noon at the Paramount. The first 300 people will be seen.)
