Robert Zakanitch was one of the founders of the Pattern and Decoration Movement, a form of art inspired by the graceful handiwork with which women had always decorated their homes. He talks with Curator Laura Vookles about his artistic roots, the floral paintings on view in this summer’s exhibition, Garden of Ornament, and what inspires him today.
At 3pm, join the artist and curator for a Q&A in the galleries.
